Hello! I run the Independent Filmmakers of the Inland Empire and I know Eric from various editing affiliations. I am glad to see this group going and am willing to help in any way I can. Also, if any of you are ever out in my area, say "Hi!"
Editing, producing, etc.
Networking, meeting like-minded individuals.
Dark drama, I guess.
Fantastic group with great speakers and networking opportunities.

Hi Eric!
I'm just trying to touch base with you. I haven't seen any reply from you about showing 1 or 2 of my shorts for the upcoming meeting. Other than text message...email
is the best way to reach me. [masked]

Hi Eric, thank you for the welcome. I am definitely interested in getting more information about upcoming projects and meetings in the Inland Empire with your organization. I am in the process of starting up an independent production company out in Riverside; website should be live in the next few weeks. I can be contacted via email at: [masked].
Thanks again!
Hi Eric,
Did you receive my email about potentially sponsoring the group/advertisi
ng, etc.?
Thanks,
Anthony

Hi Eric: Is the group still active?
Sure, I'd be honored to present at some point.
The '65 edition is the one I first read back in High School in '70. I recently bought a copy from '79 on ebay, and honestly can't tell, without comparing side-by-side, what the differences are. In one sense, most of the book is outdated, but it offers a great deal of information that is useful in deciphering how to approach an effect, usually in a far more organic manner. I find the thinking the book offers can help avoid the computer look of modern effects.
Heya Eric,
It was great meeting you at the PhotoCine Expo. Good luck with everything and I will try my best to make it to the next meeting.
